Margaret Rorison

Margaret Rorison is a curator and filmmaker from Baltimore, Maryland. She works with language, sound and imagery to create installations, films and live 16mm projections. Rorison’s work has been screened at venues and festivals including, Anthology Film Archives, Ann Arbor Film Festival, CROSSROADS, Edinburgh International Film Festival, Images Festival, The Maryland Film Festival, Mono No Aware VI & VII, Sonic Circuits Festival, Microscope Gallery, The Moscow Museum of Modern Art and The High Zero Festival.  She is the co-founder and curator for the experimental film series, Sight Unseen which has partnered with various institutions including, The Baltimore Museum of Art, Maryland Institute College of Art, The Goethe Institute and Johns Hopkins University. She holds an MFA from The Maryland Institute College of Art, has been a member of The High Zero Foundation since 2011 and has been serving on the Maryland Film Festival Screening Committee since 2012.
